INGREDIENTS:
- Onions large - 3 nos.
- Red chillies - 5-6 nos.
- Tamarind -1 small size lime
- Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - pinch
- Hing - pinch
- Salt to taste
METHOD:
- Soak tamarind in water for 15 minutes.
- Grind red chillies, curry leaves, chopped onions and tamarind pulp (don't make fine paste) in grinder.
- Heat oil add urad dal, mustard seeds, one red chilli and hing allow to splutter, add this to onion chutney.
- Serve with rice or puri.
