SWEET PONGAL





Ingredient:
·        Rice                                   - 2 cups
·        Moong dal(pesara pappu)  - 1 cup
·        Milk                                   - 2 cups
·        Ghee                                  - 3 tbsp
·        Jaggery                              -  2 1/2 cups
·        Cashew nuts, raisins          -  ½  cup
·        Chopped dry coconut        -  ½  cup
·        elachi                                 -  4
·        Water                                -  2 cups
METHOD:
Fry cashew nut, raisins & coconut in ghee keep a side.
Cook rice & moong dal with 2 cup of water.
When the rice is cooked add milk & cook till rice is mashy.
Add jaggery & cook till the rice is  nice consistency.
Then add ghee cook for 3-4 mints stir in between.
At last add cashew nut, raisins & elachi powder mix it well.
