COCONUT RICE

















Ingredient:
  • Rice                                   -  1 cup
  • Coconut milk                    -  1 cup
  • Grated coconut                 -  ½ cup
  •  Green chilli                      -  2
  • Curry leaves                      -  stalk
  • Cumin seeds                      -  ½ tsp
  • Mustard seeds                    -  ½ tsp
  • Chanadal dal                     -  1 tsp
  • Urad dal                            -  1 tsp
  • Hing                                  -  1 pinch                 
  • Cashew                             -  ¼ cup
  • Water                                -  1 cup         
  • salt to tast
  • Lemon juice
Method:
Wash and soak rice in water and coconut milk.
Heat oil in a pan add channadal, urad dal, mustard seed, cumin seeds, cashew and hing allow to splutter.
After splitting add green chilli curry leaves fry for 1 mint.
Then add this in to rice, add salt and cook in preasure cooker.
While serving add lemon juice and serve hot whit sambar or rasam.
