CHANA MASALA



Ingredients : 
                                  









  1.    Kabuli chanas           - 1 cup
  2.    Ginger, garlic paste  - 1 tsp
  3.    onions                       - 2 finely chopped
  4.    tomatoes                   - 1 finely chopped
  5.   garam masala            - 1 tsp
  6.    turmeric powder       - 1/4 tsp
  7.    coriander powder     - 1 tsps
  8.    Green chilly             - 2
  9.    Oil                            - 2 to 3 tbsp
  10. Mustard seeds              -1/2 tsp
  11. Jeera                            - 1/2 tsp
  12.  Coriander leaves for garnishing
  13.  Salt to tast

Method:

  • Soak Kabuli chanas  overnight and after soaking cook it in cooker.
  • Take some oil in a pan add mustard seeds and jeera allow to splutter.
  • Add the chopped onions, green chillies and ginger, garlic paste fry it.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes. Stir it for some time.
  • Add the turmeric powder, coriander, salt, garam masala, and stir well.
  • Add the kabuli chana, cook till the chick peas is cooked well.
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with puri.
