RAVA VERMICELLI UPMA


Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup rava
  2. 1 cup vermicelli
  3. 2 green chillies finely chopped
  4. 1 inch ginger finely chopped
  5. 1 medium onion finely chopped
  6. 1 medium tomato finely chopped
  7. 1 tsp chana dal
  8. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  9. 1 tsp urad dal
  10. 2 tbsp oil
  11. salt to taste
  12. 4 cups water


METHOD:
  • Heat oil in a pan add chana dal, urad dal and mustard seeds allow to splitter.
  • Add ginger, green chillies and onion fry till onions becomes transparent.
  • Add tomatoes fry till it becomes soft.
  • Add water and salt bring to boil.
  • Add vermicelli and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Now add rava(stir well while adding rava) close the lid and cook till it becomes thick.
