ATUKULA UPMA (POHA UPMA)


Ingredients:
  1. Poha                - 2 cups
  2. Onion              - 1 large chopped
  3. Green chillies   - 3 chopped
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Pinch of turmeric
  6. Coriander leaves for garnishing

For tempering:
  1. Oil                    - 2 tbsp
  2. Chana dal         - 1 tsp
  3. Peanuts             - 1 tsp
  4. urad dal            - 1 tsp
  5. Mustard seeds  -1/2 tsp
  6. Red chillies       - 1 
  7. Curry leaves

Method:
  • Add water in poha and drain the water completely keep aside
  • Heat oil in pan add peanut fry for a minute then add chana dal, urad dal, Mustard seeds allow to splutter.
  • Add curry leaves, onion and green chillies fry till light brown.
  • Now add poha stir well. Close the lid cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
