CARROT CURRY


INGREDIENTS:

  1. Carrot finely chopped      - 5 no.
  2. Grated coconut               - 1/2 cup
  3. Green chilli paste            - 1/2 tsp.
  4. Mustard seeds                - 1/4 tsp.
  5. Urad dal                         - 1/2 tsp.
  6. Chana dal                       - 1/2 tsp.
  7. Oil                                 - 2 tbsp.
  8. Red chilli                        - 1 no.
  9. Turmeric powder            - pinch
  10. Curry leaves     
  11. Salt to taste


METHOD:

  • Cook chopped carrots in cooker.
  • Heat oil in a pan add chana dal, urad dal, mustare seeds, red chilli and curry leaves allow to splutter.
  • Add carrots, salt and turmeric powder cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add green chilli past and grated coconut mix well cook for 5 minutes.
  • Serve with rice.
