INGREDIENTS:
- Bottle gourd chopped - 3 cups
- Roasted poppy seeds (gasagasalu) - 3 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Chana dal - 1tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Red chilli - 1nos
- Green chillies - 2-3 nos
- Oil - 1tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in pan add chana dal, urad dal, Mustard seeds and red chilli to splutter.
- Add bottle gourd and salt cook for 15 minutes.
- Grind roasted poppy seeds and green chillies and add to bottle gourd, cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
