PANASA POTTU KURA( Raw Jackfruit Curry)
- Raw jack fruit - 1/2 kg
- Grated jaggery - 1/4 cup
- Tamarind pulp - 1/4 cup
- Mustard powder - 1/3 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Channadal - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Red chilli - 1
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric powder pinch
METHOD:
- Grease your hands, remove the seeds and chop in vegetable chopper or grind it .
- Boil the chopped jack fruit with salt, turmeric powder and water for 15 minutes.
- Squeeze out water from jack fruit keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, red chilli allow to splutter.
- Add jack fruit cook for 5 minutes.
- Add tamarind pulp and jaggery cook for 15 minutes.
- Add chilli powder mix well and remove from the flame.
- Then add mustard powder mix well.
- Serve hot with rice.
