DONDAKAYA CURRY(Tindoora Curry)

Ingedients:
  1. Dondakaya (tindoora)                            - 1/2  kg
  2. Onions                                                   - 4 Nos.
  3. Besan flour                                             - 3 tsp
  4. Redchilli powder                                    - 1/2 tsp
  5. Jeera powder                                         - 1/2 tsp
  6. Oil                                                         - 2 tbsp
  7. Salt to taste

Method:    
  • Cut dondakay horizantaly into 4 parts. 
  • Grind the onions into past(dont make fine past).   
  • In a pan add oil and fry dondakaya till it become brown (add salt), remove from oil keep aside.
  • In the same oil add onion past fry till moistuer absorbed.
  • Add fried dondakaya stir well close the lid cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
  • Then add jeera powder, besan powder and red chilli powder, cook for 1 minute.
  • Serve with hot rice.
